How to Prepare Heart Shaped Pancakes

❤️ If you’re not using a heart-shaped pancake mold , you can create a heart-shaped mold using a folded 13-inch foil strip.

🥣 Mix dry and wet pancake ingredients separately and then combine.

💗 Add 7-8 drops of food coloring to the batter and stir.

🧈 Spray the mold and pan with cooking spray and then pour enough batter to coat the pan bottom.

🥞 Cook Heart Shaped Pancakes for 1-2 minutes, then gently remove the mold.

🍳 Flip the pancake, and trim any imperfections if needed. Enjoy your Heart Shaped Pancakes!

Nonna’s Tip 🥞

You can make your own mold by using foil or buy a heart shaped cookie cutter or mold online.

While 1 cup of flour weighs 160g in my kitchen, it might weigh anywhere from 120 to 180g in your kitchen and there’s a few reasons for that. The weight of ingredients may vary due to the brand of ingredients, the brand and style (wet vs dry) of measuring cups and spoons, and the technique for measuring into cups: scooping and leveling versus spooning the ingredients into the cup measure. For best results, go by the weight listed in the recipe.
