Why You’ll Love This Christmas Tree Cheese Ball

This Christmas Tree Cheese Ball is incredibly easy to prepare and absolutely delicious. It can be a great addition to your holiday dinner table as an appetizer, served with some crackers or fresh bread 🥖. If you’re feeling festive and want a savory treat, you can enjoy this on your own as well.

How to Prepare This Christmas Tree Cheese Ball

🧀 To begin with, unwrap the three wheels of cheese and place them on top of a large piece of saran wrap.

🌲 Next, gently press them together with clean hands or wear kitchen gloves.

🍽️ Now comes the fun part – cover the cheese with the saran wrap and begin to shape it into a Christmas Tree. Once you have achieved the desired shape, remove the saran wrap and place the shaped cheese tree onto a plate.

🫒 Now, it’s time to insert the olives into the cheese one at a time. You can insert different types of olives, but make sure they’re pitted.

🌿 After the olives are arranged, take the rosemary, break off small pieces from the stem and then insert the rosemary in the spaces between the olives.

⭐ For the final touch, take a 1-inch thick piece of cheese of your choice and press the star cookie cutter into it to form a cheese star.

🥖 Finally, place the star on top of the Christmas tree and enjoy with fresh bread!

Nonna’s Tip

Instead of Boursin cheese , you can try using cream cheese, goat cheese or a blend of different cheeses. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses, herbs, nuts or other fillings to make this cheesy Christmas tree your own!
