These Air Fryer Peaches are an elite summer dessert and you don’t have to worry about firing up the grill! These beauties are made in the air fryer and only takes 10 minutes from start to finish. They’re best with fresh, seasonal , slightly ripe peaches and a great way to use up the bounty of the season 🍑 . They’re naturally sweet , but I like the addition of a bit of maple syrup as well 🍁. Plus, they get beautifully caramelized, with a slight char that brings out that sweetness even more—all the perks of grilling, but instead cooked mess-free in the air fryer. They’re just simply irresistible!

Why You’ll Love Air Fryer Peaches

These irresistible air fryer peaches are juicy and sweet, with a hint of maple and little crispy bits of caramelization 🍑. Peak season peaches are a delight on their own, but grilling them in the air fryer takes them to the next level. Sink your teeth into one of these, past the caramelized exterior flecked with cinnamon, and through to the warm, soft peach bursting with sweet juices, and you, my friend, have entered dessert nirvana 🙌. Of course these make a great dessert (topped with ice cream or whipped cream) but you can also add them to a fresh salad or serve with burrata cheese as an elevated appetizer. Keep any leftovers refrigerated and add them to your morning yogurt with granola or on top of pancakes or waffles 🥞. They’re the ultimate in summer sweetness ☀️!

Ingredients

  • Peaches : Juicy, fresh, in-season peaches are a must for this recipe. You want them to be just-ripe. Gently press the flesh around the stem; it should have little resistance under your finger. That’s how you know it’s ripe. You can also check for vibrant color and a sweet aroma. If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, peaches tend to be in season from June to September.
  • Coconut Oil : A slick of oil helps produce a beautiful golden crust. It also provides a mild coconut flavor.
  • Cinnamon : Arguably an elite dessert spice, cinnamon adds warmth and depth of flavor. It helps brings out the floral, caramel notes of a peach.
  • Maple Syrup : Just a touch of sweetener makes this feel like true dessert. I love maple syrup because it has a lower glycemic index than granulated sugar.
  • Ice Cream : Do I even need to explain this one? We’re gilding the lily, as they say. This dish doesn’t “need” ice cream, but it certainly brings it over the top. I’m partial to vanilla. For a healthier alternative, try a dollop of Greek yogurt.

How to Store & Repurpose Leftovers

Don’t throw out these delicious peaches! Keep leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container for 2 days. There are so many delicious ways to use up leftovers. Instead of reheating the peaches, try:

  • Add the peaches to your favorite smoothie.
  • Place the peaches in a blender of food processor with your favorite yogurt, for a sweetened peach yogurt.
  • Add the peaches (cold or room temp) to a fresh salad.
  • For an elegant savory dish, top the peaches with a bit of burrata cheese and arugula.
  • Serve the peaches as part of your morning yogurt and granola bowl or layer the ingredients to make a breakfast parfait.
  • Chop up leftover air fryer grilled peaches and use as a topping for pancakes or waffles.

Nonna’s Tip 🍑

For even cooking and caramelization, don’t overcrowd your air fryer. Depending on the size of your air fryer basket, it may be best to cook the peaches in batches .

Common Questions

I love my COSORI Air Fryer ! It’s large and cooks everything really well. The cooking time may vary depending on the brand of your air fryer, so watch them carefully.

Yes, you certainly can still make this recipe without an air fryer. Coat them in the oil/cinnamon/syrup mixture and then place on a hot grill (indoor or outdoor) instead.

You can serve these Air Fryer Grilled Peaches with anything you like. I love a coconut-based ice cream (that’s plant-based) but it’s up to you.

I think you could absolutely use nectarines or plums in this recipe instead. Even apples would be delicious!

I don’t suggest making these Air Fryer Grilled Peaches with canned peaches because I think they would just be too ripe and soft once cooked.

For best results, use just-ripe peaches that are neither firm to the touch, nor mushing under a firm grip.

No! In fact, the peel helps the peach stay intact as it softens in the heat of the air fryer.

Air fry at 400F (200C) for 7 to 9 minutes. The end result should be a slightly softened peach that is warm throughout, with a caramelized top.

Keep any leftovers refrigerated and add them to your morning yogurt with granola or on top of pancakes or waffles.
